Experienced transactional attorney to provide legal support to various NHL business areas.
Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements which may be focused in interactive media, sponsorship and other commercial business areas as designated; provide legal review of related advertising and promotional materials; advise associated business groups on day to day legal considerations, including relevant regulatory matters; and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 10 years of relevant transactional legal experience.  Law firm experience required.  Relevant in-house experience and/or experience in media, sponsorship or regulatory matters a plus.  Demonstrated superior drafting, negotiating, communication (both written and oral) and problem-solving skills.  Successful candidate must have a proven track-record of direct client contact and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
