Communications/Community Relations: Corporate Communications
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Executive, Communications to engage their passion and operate in a highly creative environment across New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center.  The role is based at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, and seeks an individual who can expand the boundaries of communications and define the future through their ability to connect, influence and deliver new levels of creative and strategic thinking. The Executive, Communications will oversee and manage all communications for the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center which includes strategic and corporate communications, media, and public relations. The Executive, Communications provides leadership and Guidance to advance public-facing goals of both the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center. 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
·   Work closely with Chief Operating Officer in executing all New Jersey Devils/Prudential Center department protocols and procedures
·    Work closely with Chief Revenue Officer to align communications strategy to enhance and support sales initiatives for New Jersey Devils/Prudential Center Partnership platform
·     Work closely with senior management to ensure all communication strategies are aligned with corporate culture and business initiatives 
·    Develop and execute a comprehensive media/communications strategy for New Jersey Devils/Prudential Center
·    Write and distribute all press releases for New Jersey Devils/Prudential Center for business operations
·    Serve as point person for major clients for contract execution and fulfillment, and oversee account management for other New Jersey Devils/Prudential Center business clients
Minimum Qualifications: 
·    B.A., at minimum; MBA or advanced degree in marketing or communications preferred
·    At least 8 years of demonstrated success and current senior level responsibility with corporate, agency, media or sports team
·   Experience with account management or communications in an agency setting required
·   Record of success in creating and launching effective partnerships, media partnerships and communication strategy
·   Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic planning skills, including evidence of ability to work across organizational boundaries to achieve results
·   Proven capacity for collaborative leadership
·   Demonstrate excellence in communications - written and verbal; strong interpersonal skills 
•   Ability to work in high energy competitive environment
·   Understanding and willingness to work nights and weekends due to live event schedule
·  Highly collaborative style; positive attitude; commitment to continuous improvement and strong work ethic grounded in honesty and integrity
