Bridgestone Arena Quality Assurance Event Night Internship
Bridgestone Arena / Nashville Predators prides ourselves on high level Customer Service and Guest Experiences. This intern will assist with ensuring that these high expectations are met each event by conducting Pre-Event walkthroughs to monitor building cleanliness, conduct nightly surveys monitoring overall building operation and service, and provide feedback on various interactions with staff and guests. This internship will also provide the opportunity to shadow the Director of Quality Assurance / Front of House Manager, as well as other departments throughout events to discover how Customer Service plays a role throughout all facets of an event. Please take note that Quality Assurance Interns will have duties associated with both hockey-related and non-hockey related events, such as concerts, conventions, and other sporting events. 

This is an unpaid internship and candidates must be eligible to earn academic credit from an accredited college or university for participating in the SE101 Program. Internships do not guarantee full-time positions with Bridgestone Arena or the Nashville Predators upon completion.

 Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Pre-Event Arena Walkthroughs
  • Complete Quality Assurance Surveys throughout Events 
  • Observe Customer Service / Guest Experiences during Events
  • Conduct interactions with Arena Staff / Guests to measure Customer Service Experience 
  • Shadow Director of Quality Assurance / Front of House Manager as needed
  • Interact with and shadow other departments as needed 

Requirements:
  • Interns must be available to work event nights (Hockey and Non-Hockey Related). Event Nights include non-traditional hours, evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Candidates should understand that total work hours per week are determined by the Event Schedule, and vary each week.
  • Interns must be detail-oriented, team players, friendly, have initiative, strong personal and communication skills. 
  • Interns must be prepared for long hours on their feet.
  • Local (Middle Tennessee) candidates strongly preferred
  • Internships do not provide compensation or housing.
      
 Candidates must satisfy the following minimum requirements: 
  • Enrolled and in good standing in an accredited/degree seeking program at a college or university.
  • Earn academic credit- that is directly applied to the student’s degree.
  • Meet the academic credit compliance requirements of the intern’s college or university.
  • As a condition of the internship, a qualified applicant will be subject to a background check, including a criminal history check, driving history and character references.
