Role and Responsibilities
The Broadcast and Marketing Departments of the Nashville Predators are responsible for all video content for the organization.  This includes live TV broadcasts, radio and television commercials, and video features that span all platforms including linear TV, web, social, and in-game.
The participant will be responsible for logging all game footage in Cat DV, editing video with Adobe Premiere, assisting in the set-up of lighting and audio equipment and more.  The ideal candidate should have knowledge of NHL rosters and be interested in the production aspect of the industry, with a passion for video editing.

Candidates must satisfy the following minimum requirements:
  • Enrolled and in good standing in an accredited/degree seeking program at a college or university.
  • Earn academic credit- that is directly applied to the student’s degree.
  • Meet the academic credit compliance requirements of the intern’s college or university.
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism while interacting with co-workers, hockey operations staff and players on a daily basis while representing the Nashville Predators
  • Be able to maintain confidential information.
  • As a condition of the internship, a qualified applicant will be subject to a background check, including a criminal history check, driving history and character references.
  • This is an unpaid internship and candidates must be eligible to earn academic credit from an accredited college or university for participating in the SE101 Program.
 
Preferred Skills
  • Logging NHL game highlights (Cat DV or similar media management software)
  • Video Editing (Adobe Premiere Pro & Related Creative Cloud programs)
  • Camera Operation (Sony FS7, EX, XDCAM, GoPro)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Familiar with NHL rosters and rules of the game
  • Lighting & audio knowledge
  • Creativity & problem solving, with good organization skills
  • Must be able to lift & carry 25 pounds
