Position Summary:
The Los Angeles Kings are seeking positive and motivated individuals looking to begin their career in sports. Each Fan Service Associate is responsible for assisting the LA Kings Ticket Sales and Service/Community Relations and Kings Care Foundation staff with game day responsibilities, and supporting the departments with day-to-day needs in office. The Fan Service Associate position will begin in August and continue for the entire regular season ending in early April. Post-season hours may be scheduled on a case-by-case basis as needed. Associates should be prepared for flexibility in their schedule with game day and office hours, and available to work night and weekend shifts. This is a part time, seasonal position.

Essential Functions:
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Supporting the Ticket Sales and Service department/Community Relations department and Kings Care Foundation at most, if not all, home games
  • Preparation of game night areas, materials and auction items
  • Fulfillment of pre- and in-game activations and experiences
  • Assistance with game night special events
  • Service support at Ticket Sales and Service/Kings Care Foundation booth
  • Assist with 50/50 Raffle game night operations, as needed
  • Supporting the Ticket Sales and Service department/Community Relations department and Kings Care Foundation in office
  • Own administrative duties and game night preparation
  • Organize and maintain storage areas and shared workspaces
  • Becoming familiar with the culture and roles within a professional sports organization
  • Work closely with staff across several departments and gain varied, valuable experience
Supporting and assisting at all LA Kings and Kings Care Foundation events
  • Taste of the South Bay, State of the Franchise, LA Kings 5K, the LA Kings Festival, team autograph sessions, etc.
In addition to performing the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management:
  • Assist with general office duties and projects as needed
  • Collaborate with and support outside departments as assigned by management
  • Execute special assignments as designated by management

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides required knowledge, skills and abilities. Degree from a 4-year college preferred.

  • Previous experience in an administrative, client-facing or special events function is preferred, but not required
