Ticket Sales and Services: Premium/Suite Sales
Job Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for selling business to business within the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. Position offers full menu selling with an emphasis on luxury suites, VIP packages, Victory Club Memberships/Half Memberships, and other premium hospitality options to Dallas Stars hockey games. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
  • Pursue sales opportunities with companies and businesses across DFW
  • Consistently book appointments with decision makers on-site, out of the office, or at Dallas Stars home games      
  • Prospect qualified new business opportunities in addition to sales leads assigned
  • Develop deep rooted and engrained relationships within business leader community
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and long-term sales/appointment goals in all areas
  • Maintain book of business that includes single game premium & non-full season accounts
  • Provide excellent customer service to account base in assurance of renewing and/or upgrading for the following season
  • Utilize all Dallas Stars home games and events as prospect and sales opportunities 
  • Join professional associations and attend networking events to gain awareness of our product in the local business community
  • Record descriptive and accurate notes within Dallas Stars CRM
 
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 3-5 years prior sales experience, sports sales experience is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work flexible hours including all Dallas Stars home games and events that can include, but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to utilize for out of office meetings
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Power Point, Teams, & Excel
  • Familiarity with Ticketmaster Archtics is a plus
  • The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a positive attitude 

Physical Demands and Working Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle objects and office tools, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is exposed to an office environment, with noise levels usually moderate.
