Facility Operations/Event Staff: Electrician
Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment.
Distributes and picks-up power drops as needed.
Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunction with Electrician Supervisor or other maintenance workers to diagnose malfunction.
Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices.
Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors.
Plans layout of high and low voltage wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
Acts as electrician for all special events and CBJ games.
Learn and maintain building lighting control systems.
Knowledgeable in arena sound system, fire panel and overall building management system (Metaysis)

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma, GED or trade school degree required; or 3-5 years of related experience and/or training in electrical and HVAC; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Event management experience a plus.
Journeyman Electrician is required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge in Microsoft Office Software.
