Summary
Assist AV Engineer and building electrician with installing and setting up audio and video equipment for small event needs at Nationwide Arena as well as electrical maintenance and installs
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Set up AV needs for meeting rooms and other small events on as needed basis, based on instructions given by the AV Engineer and Event Coordinator.
 
Assist AV engineer install sound systems, projectors, clear com paging systems, scoreboard controllers, and cover events as required. 
 
Assist in setting up, operating, coordinating and managing theatrical, technical and other requirements for events and functions as required.
 
Program lighting and sound, operate systems via computer as required. 
 
Troubleshoot and maintain equipment. 
 
Assist Operations department with any other needs including general event set ups, relamping, preventive maintenance, and other duties as needed.
 
Provide support during hockey games and concerts.
 
Maintain general tidiness and cleanliness for working areas, tools and equipment.

Education and/or Experience
One to two years vocational schooling in audio or visual technology; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
 
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
