Facility Operations/Event Staff: Maintenance
Responsible for the general maintenance of the facility. This includes, but is not limited to conversions of arena seating systems and other equipment from one event setup to another, general carpentry, small mechanical repairs and landscaping.
Experience and skills required, but not limited to: High school diploma or its equivalent preferred. Previous supervisory experience in related field preferred. Candidate must have the ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions as well as adhere to building policies and event requirements. Must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs and stand, bend and stoop for long periods of time. Must be able to climb stairs to inspect and handle problems.
Candidate must have knowledge of basic mathematical skills. Candidate must be willing to work in a fast paced, team environment. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule of different shifts revolving around event schedules including evenings, weekends and holiday hours if needed. Must have ability to interact with fellow employees and general public in a professional manner. Candidate must stay alert and observant.
Valid NC driver’s license and clean driving record preferred. Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
