Job Summary
The Arizona Coyotes are looking for a video production intern to join their video production team that will assist in filming and editing video content. The video production intern will also assist in managing and maintaining video assets in our asset management system. This position will be well-versed in shooting, editing and distributing video content to various platforms and departments in various formats within the organization and externally.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Shoot game content and highlights during all home games. This includes assisting lead videographers and editors with pre-game and post-game press conferences and dressing room content.
- Assist with in-house and remote shoots and editing that includes but not limited to community outreach events, original content series programming, instructional videos, game presentation content and marketing collateral.
- Work with the creative team in maintaining order to media assets and logging footage, as well as equipment inventory.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
- Experience in Adobe Premiere editing software (Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred)
- Knowledge and Experience with mirrorless and DSLR cameras (experience with Sony FX cinema camera line is a plus)
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication and leadership skills – both written and interpersonal.
Education and Formal Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree or comparable Arts Degree
Experience:
- Previous video or production experience is a plus
