The organization is on the rise and is experiencing success both on and off the ice. Led by General Manager Bill Zito, the Panthers had their best season in franchise history. Off the ice, the business team is seeing growth across all key metrics including ratings, social engagement and a busy Fall 2022 concert schedule. Meanwhile the organization is expanding outside of FLA Live Arena and are renovating the FTL War Memorial in Downtown Fort Lauderdale to build a new practice facility and concert venue.

Job Summary:
The Florida Panthers are seeking a Business Analyst who will work within the Business Intelligence team to provide insights in support of strategic initiatives and decision making to primarily the Corporate Partnerships team. The Business Analyst will drive a strategic and analytical approach with our Partnerships team and work collaboratively across departments to improve reporting, insights, and outcomes. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate analytical skills, business, and marketing acumen, with the ability to succinctly visualize findings and make recommendations to drive the business forward.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize internal and external research to build data visualizations that demonstrate overall partnership performance and critical benchmarking metrics
  • Use SQL queries to organize, interpret, translate, and present data from the internal data warehouse, as well as leverage information from other data providers (e.g Blinkfire, Nielsen, Salesforce) for discussion with Corporate Partners
  • Serve as liaison between BI and Corporate partnership department for all data requests for new business pitches, recaps, et
  • Collaborate with Corporate Partnerships with analytical consulting as requested. Own and develop relationship with the partnerships team to optimize and improve our strategies
  • Collaborate with business area stakeholders to identify and track key business metrics in array of areas including Corporate Partnerships and Marketing.
  • Conduct analysis to support key strategic Partnership decision making
  • Identify areas for improvement, including automating reports or data processes to increase efficiency
  • Work with other analysts to utilize and evaluate data sources for integration into central data warehouse or analysis
  • Build, maintain, and audit the internal business intelligence suite across Tableau, KORE Software Sponsorship Module and Activate platforms.



  • A degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Economics
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in a Business Analyst or similar role is highly preferred
  • Proficiency with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
  • Excellent analytical skills – must be able to independently work with large amounts of data, extract relevant information for analysis, and summarize in data visualizations
  • Familiarity working with KORE Software Sponsorship Module
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Office is required, proven understanding of SQL, Salesforce, and statistical languages such as Python
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and other Office products
  • Curious self-starter who learns new concepts quickly
  • Close attention to detail


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is an exempt position. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
