Organization Overview:
The Florida Panthers are a community focused organization lead by an authentic management team that served our country and now serves the South Florida community. The organization is on the rise and is experiencing success both on and off the ice. Led by new General Manager Bill Zito, the Panthers had their best season in franchise history. Off the ice, the business team is seeing growth across all key metrics including ratings, social engagement and a busy 2022 concert schedule. Meanwhile the organization is expanding outside of FLA Live Arena and recently purchased the FTL War Memorial in Downtown Fort Lauderdale to build a new practice facility and concert venue.

Job Summary:

Box Office Supervisor - Responsible for selling tickets, distributing tickets, and providing excellent customer service to FLA Live Arena guests. Requires proper handling of cash and credit card transactions. This role requires availability on nights and weekends.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in processing all concert/event/hockey orders assisting the sales teams
  • Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures in relation to processing internal, group, and premium sales orders
  • Provide excellent customer service to all clients and customers as well as internal staff.
  • Work closely and complete duties as assigned by Management
  • Assist Sales and Service Representatives with questions and troubleshooting ticketing issues
  • Assist in supervising the part time staff

Qualifications:

  • Requires proven customer service abilities, experience with computer processing
  • Experience working with cash and cash handling procedures
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, extensive customer service skills
  • Strong ability to adapt to changes, work effectively under pressure and produce accurate results in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and database software. Knowledge of the Ticketmaster Classic and Archtics preferred, but not required

Work Environment:

This position works in an arena where the noise level is generally high, crowd traffic is heavy, temperatures are variable – often cold; lights are bright or dark with occasional exposure to flashing lights and pyrotechnics.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a Part-Time Supervisor position. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and occasional holidays.
