Ticket Sales and Services: Ticket Sales Management
The Account Executive, Business Development role will focus on maintaining, and increasing Season Memberships (Nailers365), Partial Season Ticket Sales, and Group Ticket Sales for the Wheeling Nailers. This person must generate new revenue through a process of prospecting and contacting a high volume of leads daily. As well as maintain, service, and renew customers of all levels.  Position will be based in Wheeling at the Wheeling Nailers front office.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Generate revenue using all sales methods, including cold calls, face to face appointments, prospecting, and networking
  • Sales inventory includes but is not limited to, Nailers365 Season Memberships, partial plans, premium ticket packages, suites, and group packages 
  • Aggressively prospect and research new sales leads to build your book of business
  • Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals established by Director of Ticket Sales
  • Record all activity and sales pipeline details in the CRM system
  • Provide superior customer service to clients, existing season members, prospects, groups, and single-game customers
  • Be present at all home games to service your customers, establish new relationships, and help manage the game-day duties
  • Attend team and community events for the purpose of making new connections and maximizing sales opportunities
  • Additional tasks as requested by Nailers Management and Directors
  • Experience in making outbound calls (averaging 65-75 per day) 

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
  • Strong customer service skills, self-motivated, excellent communicator; and have strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in, Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel,
  • Knowledge of the ECHL and hockey
  • Proficient with a CRM and Etix Ticketing System

Qualifications and Requirements: 
  • A minimum of two (2) years of sales experience, preferably in the sports or entertainment industries
  • Strong work ethic, open to learning, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, both oral and written
  • Superior customer service mind-set possessing the character and experience to support our organizational goals.
  • Good at collaborating with others in a close work environment
  • Excellent, proven cold calling skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and multi-task
  • A high level of professionalism, confidence, enthusiasm, and personal accountability 
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Work all Nailers home regular season/playoffs games. 
  • Ability to work nights, holidays, & weekends 
  • Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs on a regular basis
