Position Overview
The Jacksonville Icemen, the Premier AA hockey Organization in North America, and the Community First Igloo, North Florida’s premier ice sports center, are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented self-starter to take its corporate partner relations to the next level. 




The Manager, Corporate Partnerships Activation is responsible for the planning, execution, and day-to-day management of all aspects surrounding detailed sponsorship agreements.  This position will act as the liaison between multiple partners and/or their agencies and internal departments of the Icemen organization. 




Essential Job Functions




  • Act as the primary liaison between Sponsors and the Jacksonville Icemen / Community First Igloo to facilitate execution of all assigned partnerships agreements.
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues to ensure a full understanding of client Activation objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate with internal Icemen departments, Community First Igloo, Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena, and any 3rd party companies to properly execute contractual activation assets received by partners.
  • Manage all aspects of activation asset execution, including but not limited to activation rights, stadium signage exposure, game day and in-market activation, television/radio/internet/print media, hospitality, and special events.
  • Track and maintain all details of partnership and hospitality agreements related to the Icemen and Igloo.
  • Develop and present detailed reports on sponsorship execution, photographs, and program summaries, including but not limited to one mid-season report and one full end of year review report.
  • Support department processes and requests, while sharing guidance and leading the team to support and uphold their responsibilities.
  • Facilitate ongoing client engagement through meetings, conference calls, and written correspondence.
  • Manage special events for client accounts, from planning to execution of these events.
  • Maintain thorough communication with Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships and Senior Director of Marketing regarding all sponsor account activity.
  • Maintain the ability and eagerness to take on additional team projects, outside of the scope of the individual assigned partner responsibilities.
  • Guide other team members who will be supporting high-level partner accounts with the Manager.
  • Travel as required
  • All other duties as assigned.
      
Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration, Activation, Communications, Marketing, or a related area of study required.
  • 4+ years of experience in a sponsorship role in sports or entertainment required.  Professional sports experience preferred.  
  • Experience managing execution of top tier sponsorship accounts.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple clients and projects.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in all situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to balance internal priorities with client expectations.
  • Must be flexible regarding work hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. 
Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):
  • Sitting for long periods of time throughout shift 
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
  • Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
