Internship Objective:
The Allen AMERICANS are offering an opportunity for current college level students looking to gain real world Entertainment and Sponsorship Services experience to position themselves for a career in the sports industry upon graduation. 
About the Organization: 
The Allen AMERICANS Professional Hockey Club is a member of the ECHL, the world’s top Double-A hockey league, and is the affiliate of the National Hockey League’s (NHL) Seattle Kraken. 
Founded in 2009, the club is owned by Jack D. Gulati, known internationally as the “Serial Entrepreneur.” Championship Hockey is the backbone of the franchise, with the RED having captured back-to-back ECHL Kelly Cup Championships in 2014-15 & 2013-14. 


Academic Qualifications: Applicants should be studying a subject in a relevant field. This may include but is not limited to Communication, Journalism, and/or Marketing. 


General Team Responsibilities:
  • Expected to be available for all home Allen AMERICAN games, sponsor events, and fan events
  • Expected to attend office hours as determined by direct supervisor
Description of Responsibilities:
  • Help execute social media marketing campaigns and strategies through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. 
  • Develop content for social media with the social media team and interns 
  • Assist with email marketing design, strategies, and execution. 
  • Execute digital sponsorship activations with sponsorship team 
  • Design and implement on-field marketing as well as tabling at community events 
  • Assist with gameday duties as assigned 
  • Other duties as assigned
