Position Summary:
 The Chicago Blackhawks are seeking an organized and energetic professional to be a core member of, and coordinate several essential elements for, the Ticket Sales & Service Department. 

Key Responsibilities:
  •  Assist in the construction and servicing of online offers (FEVO, Spinzo, etc.)
  • Assist in the promotional item process (conducting research, placing orders, inventory management, distribution, etc.) 
  • Serve as event and experience expert on some sales meetings
  • Develop Blackhawks Fan Experience training program for reps, support team, and other departments 
  • Have regular meetings with other departments on collaborative efforts
  • Build and utilize network of people in similar roles at other NHL/Industry teams
  • Be the liaison between the reps and vendors for printing and other special projects
  • Serve as lead administrator for the Blackhawks Access program
  • Generate game & event agendas, including list of Blackhawks Fan Experiences and staffing assignments
  • Complete weekly/monthly reports at the discretion of the Sales & Service Managers and Directors
  • Submit scoreboard messaging on behalf of sales department
  • Some outbound phone call efforts may be required (ex. vendor relations)
  • Assist in the recruiting, hiring, and training of seasonal interns for the sales department
General Event Planning
  • Build and maintain Event Master Calendar and collaborate with the all the departments that contribute and/or need access (Sponsorships, Game Operations, Marketing, etc.)
  •  Act as the liaison with United Center operations, Guest Relations and security, At Your Service, Levy, and Standard Parking for staffing needs and sales & service team event logistics. 
  • Build and maintain event budgets
  • Coordinate all advance and event-day logistics for internal events (team building, recognition/rewards, etc.)
Blackhawks Games
  • Provide legendary customer service
  • Coordinate all advance and day-of-game logistics for large promotional events such as Heritage Nights, Fifth Third Arena Experience Package, Atrium programming, and other major sales and service outings
  • Coordinate all logistics and staffing related to Blackhawks Memories (JuniorHawks, Group Photos, Arena Tours, etc.) and other value-added programs from the ticket sales & service team
  • Assist with execution of special programming (career days, guest speakers, tours)
  • Coordinate the set-up and scheduling of redemption tables
Blackhawks Special Events (ex. Prospect events, appreciation events, networking, etc.)
  • Coordinate all advance and event-day logistics events
  • Work with reps, facilities, vendors, etc. on details, budgets, set-up, and execution
  • Serve as point person for scheduling events at Fifth Third Arena
Additional responsibilities as assigned by sales & service team directors and managers
Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends
  • Professional conduct always
  • Outgoing personality
  • A self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and excellent organization 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Lifting 25lbs or more may be required
  • Must have ability to navigate United Center and off-site venues
Required Education & Experience:
  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Prefer experience in sales or telemarketing, preferably experience with sports & entertainment, high-volume selling, and conducting face-to-face & virtual appointments but not required.
