Position Summary:
Employee will be responsible for a myriad of processes including sourcing, supply chain management, evaluating suppliers, purchase orders, sourcing and purchasing goods and/or services at a competitive rate and suitable quality, and contract negotiation.  Along with the rest of the Finance Department, this position is Enterprise-wide and therefore will manage a range of contracts and suppliers across the Blackhawk Portfolio and, as applicable, Wirtz Corporation portfolio. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and suppliers
  • Responsible for processing purchase requisitions submitted by various departments and regions
  • Negotiate with vendors to obtain the best pricing, delivery, and terms of purchase to ensure optimum order fill rates and customer satisfaction
  • Create purchase orders and distribute for the proper approval 
  • Follow up on purchase orders (communications between vendors and sales team) confirm or change orders as needed
  • Maintain supplier agreement, documentation and back-up files
  • Own, audit and maintain the corporate purchasing card
  •  Processing of vendor invoices to ensure financial terms and agreed upon supplier performance goals are met
  • Work with Accounts Payable to research and resolve AP invoice
  • Provide ideas and solutions to ensure accuracy and improve efficiencies within Accounts Payable
  • Consult with the Accounting Manager on issues and implement solutions as appropriate
  • Maintain market intelligence and report changes in pricing levels and potential problem areas or conditions that could adversely affect the company's procurement position
  • Work with the correct team to issue request for proposal (RFP) and provide complete objective analysis

Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Deep knowledge of procurement and sourcing strategies 
  • Experience in developing and implementing procurement systems 
  • Develop ways of working and internal process to provide quick adoption
  • Experience in leading negotiations; good track record of delivering sustainable improvements and savings
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain quality relationships with team members and vendors
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment
  • Maintain the integrity of systems and protocols that are set in place
  • Strong Communicator/Attention to Detail
Required Education & Experience:
  • 4-6 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree 
  •  Experience in supplier negotiation, strategic sourcing, supply chain and request for proposal or procurement processes preferred
  • Net Suite Procurement Software
