Overview
Delaware North Boston Holdings is hiring a Vice President of Facility Operations to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. As the Vice President of Operations, you will be responsible for directing and managing the overall strategy of TD Garden facility, event, operational functions, and personnel. 
Responsibilities
  • Direct and oversee the strategic work-flow and processes for the facilities department  
  • Manage oversight of security systems, parking garage infrastructure, and information technology systems 
  • Own and drive company Green Path standards to maintain leadership in conservation of green policy 
  • Collaborate with Delaware North departments and outside clients to ensure the prompt delivery of operational support for all events 
  • Build best practice tools and processes which anticipate needs, prioritize and maximize investment dollars, and drive the best possible operational performance 
  • Prepare, review, and manage facilities budget and capital budget to ensure organizational compliance and the maximization of operational efficiencies 
  • Oversee and direct capital projects at TD Garden to ensure compliance with building specifications, capital expense budget, schedules, and time-lines 
  • Develop, oversee, and initiate input on the development and monitoring of fiscal budgets, division operations, and marketing strategies to produce both short-term and long-term profitability 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Background in mechanical or industrial engineering 
  • Experience leading, building, and effectively motivating multiple teams 
  • Experience in an entertainment or sporting arena is a plus 
  • Experience managing multiple collective bargaining agreements, contract negotiation, and managing labor relations issues is strongly preferred 
  • Extensive experience leading complex facility operations and engineering solutions 
  • Deep experience in managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, along with general maintenance of grounds, facilities, and otherwise 
  • Strong foundational knowledge designing and managing facilities help-desk and work order management systems, including the reporting they generate
