Summary of Position
The Account Executive is responsible for contacting local businesses and individuals in an effort to setup customer appointments for the purpose of selling season and partial ticket plans.  The incumbent of this position must be competitive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated to meet and exceed sales goals.​​

  • Sell full season ticket and partial ticket plans
  • Generate new sales through daily cold-calling, emailing, prospecting, networking, cultivating referrals, and other techniques
  • Setup face-to-face appointments from provided lead lists and self prospecting
  • Build relationships with local businesses and individuals to promote sales 
  • Develop, maintain, and manage own prospect lists
  • Utilize CRM system for contact management, sales pipeline tracking, and ensure all record keeping is accurate and timely
  • Achieve or exceed pre-determined sales goals for all tickets products
  • Responsible for the renewal and servicing of full and partial season ticket accounts
  • Provide top-notch customer service to ensure client issues are resolved
  • Assist with game night activities, as well as any special events on an as needed basis
  • Represent the Gulls in the most positive way when interacting with clients or prospects
  • Other duties as assigned by department manager 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Sports Management, or related field
  • Minimum of one (1) year prior sales experience; preferably in a professional sports environment 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable making cold calls
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed stipulated sales goals
  • Effective time management and organizational habits
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Competitive, coachable, positive attitude, and enthusiasm for sports sales 
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), experience with AXS and CRM a plus
  • Valid driver’s license required with good driving record
  • Fluently bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

Education - Bachelor's Degree
