Summary:
The successful candidate will be directly involved in planning, development and execution of the WTA’s Legends & Friends (Legends) Department. Reporting to Director, they will support the programs noted below as well as providing assistance on key projects and research that support the strategic initiatives of the WTA. Candidates will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with other departments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in production of Legends Newsletter, review Newsletter’s analytics reports, and support improvements based on clicks and views
- Assist with Legacy Fund (collecting agreements, tracking and approving services, etc.)
- Maintain under Director the master chart for all Legends appearances in accordance with pertinent departments
- Assist with preparation of logistics for mentor activities and Legends/Alumnae events (reunions, dinners)
- Collect imagery and assets for Legends program materials and functions (e.g., meetings, awards, anniversaries, etc.)
- Facilitate data and research related to departmental projects

Support meeting materials, program statistics and updates

Support content collection for educational resources
- Update information/assets on the Legends Zone
- Assist in the production and distribution of support letters
- Create a document regarding Alumnae programs in other sports to determine/create best practices
Education and Experience:
- The candidate would be recently graduated or currently enrolled in school preferably in journalism/communications and research.
Required Skills and Competencies:

Superior presentation and written communication skills
- The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of the sport of tennis, related governing bodies and industry stakeholders; ideally played a college level or higher as well
- Ability to prioritize tasks, initiative to drive projects forward, detail oriented and work well under pressure
- Advanced computer experience using Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) spreadsheets, database, publishing and email programs
- Excellent analytic and organizational skills
- Ability to liaise professionally with high profile clientele and league officials
- Confidentiality
- Multilingual a plus
- Flexibility in work schedule a must

Position Type/Work Schedule:
Seasonal, 40 hours a week, for 26 weeks. Typical schedule will be Monday-Friday.
