Summary:
The successful candidate will be directly involved in analysis, planning, development and execution of WTA’s Member Relations (MR) Department member programs. Reporting to the two Directors, Member Relations, they will support the MR teams (programs noted below) as well as providing assistance on key projects and research that support the strategic initiatives of the WTA. Candidates will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with other departments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Coach Program - maintain membership lists; check member access to programs (Content Court, WTA TV, etc.); track applicants, support meeting materials, program statistics and updates ; assist with maintenance of coach bio pages on wtatennis.com
· Player Membership - Assist in the tracking of membership requirements for Full and Associate Member Players; assist with tracking vs pension contribution
· Compile inventory for player gifting and consult for new products
· Collect imagery and assets for MR program materials and functions (e.g., member meetings, awards, anniversaries, retirements, etc.)
· Facilitate data and research related to departmental projects
· Compare WTA Member Relations practices with other sports by way of internet research, professional journals, podcasts, etc.
· General administrative support; collate materials for meetings; co-ordination of translation of documentation where necessary
Education and Experience:
- The candidate would be recently graduated or currently enrolled in school
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Superior presentation and written communication skills
- The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of the sport of tennis, related governing bodies and industry stakeholders; ideally played at college level or higher
- Ability to prioritize tasks, initiative to drive projects forward, detail oriented and work well under pressure
- Advanced computer experience using Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) spreadsheets, database, publishing and email programs
- Excellent analytic and organizational skills
- Ability to liaise professionally with high profile clientele and league officials

Position Type/Work Schedule:
Seasonal, 40 hours a week, for 26 weeks. Typical schedule will be Monday-Friday.
