Facility Operations/Event Staff: Custodial/Housekeeping

Work directly with the Manager of Courts & Grounds to deliver “best in class” courts for world-class athletes to the beginner tennis player. Supports the Manager of Courts & Grounds with the oversight of the Courts & Grounds full time and part-time staff. Proof of Covid vaccination required

Responsibilities
  • Aids in the preparation of the facility for the National Campus for daily programming and all Assist in the overall daily playability of courts. Daily preparation of courts including sweeping, lining, watering, cleaning, drying etc.
  • Ensure that the grounds are neat and clean with daily checks.
  • Oversee the repair and maintenance of the courts to ensure consistency throughout; including but not limited to adding clay, repairing lines, nets, rolling courts, cleaning of courts and controlling sprinkler
  • Assist in maintaining court grounds, windscreens and court
  • Oversee the proper use of equipment and storage placement.
  • Support Courts & Grounds staff in properly stocking and storing facility items (i.e. nettings, center straps, benches, )
  • Arrive for shift on time, neatly groomed, and in a clean, pressed, well-maintained uniform

Qualifications
  • High energy level and strong work ethic, with a strong “can-do” attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Strong organizational
  • This job will require the person to be able to perform physical work such as carrying heavy loads, climbing ladders of high altitude, and general maintenance type procedures as needed
  • This position is designated as "on-site" and requires the employee to be at the office site to complete the required tasks associated with the position
  • Position is considered Non-Exempt
