ATP is looking for a digital geek with a marketing background and technology experience who can’t live without a connection and immediate access to information, especially live sports morning noon and night, weekday and weekend, has an honest and open love for stats, the details, user experiences and immediate feedback to satisfy an obsession with meeting consumer demand and exceeding expectations for millions of tennis fans around the world, around the clock!


Information is power and ATP is the source and authority of tennis online with the most visited digital products worldwide and mobile audience growing 100% year over year.

The Product Manager, ATP Digital Marketing work to maintain these positive trends and build a loyal community of brand advocates and fans by influencing the perception of the ATP World Tour through exceptional products focused on Accuracy, Speed and Ease of Use.

Product Management Priorities:
1. Research - Info, Audience, Competition
2. Quality Assurance - Ensure quality and performance of all products under management
3. Product Enhancements - Create product enhancement/development plans that grow reach and engagement that scale

1. Research - Info, Audience, Competition
a. Have or quickly develop an acute understanding of men’s professional tennis information, scores, statistics, formats, conventions and nuances within the game itself
b. Gain intimate knowledge of all sources and presentations of information, systems, platforms, products and feeds to understand the scalability and/or limitations
c. Work with Sr. Manager to interpret analytics on an hourly basis where appropriate to gauge product impact on consumer and vice versa from a performance perspective
d. Research ATP digital audience demographics and identify sources for acquisition
e. Work with Social Media Coordinator to create feedback process to properly categorize, database and route issues as well as to develop a research plan using the current fan base, feedback, surveys, focus groups, etc.
f. Have an intimate understanding of the current and planned competitive digital product landscape in the sports and entertainment verticals
g. Well informed with technologies, trends and partners
h. Propose and coordinate product usability studies and ongoing feedback mechanisms to continue to optimize offerings

2. Quality Assurance
a. Conduct detailed and scheduled quality assurance reviews of all consumer facing products including front end interactivity, page load performance to search engine optimization
b. Manage mobile device test bed, simulator software and mobile device user agents to ensure experiences are optimally displayed, functional and satisfy user needs across various countries with different operators/handset manufacturer combinations.
c. Work with Digital Systems Analyst to incorporate systematic monitoring tools to ensure performance of critical information
d. Prioritize product issues and opportunities based on immediacy of audience impact of fix or enhancement

3. Product Enhancements
a. Propose incremental improvements to navigation and search to increase relevancy and consumer satisfaction
b. Recommend enhancement and development plans based on an intimate knowledge of current consumer, performance of current products and competitive landscape and technology trends
c. Write product requirements that clearly articulate the elements of the product, their source, and how they work together to achieve excellence
d. Recommend and justify product retirements or reduced investment in part of in whole to ensure resources are applied to products with the greatest impact and/or growth potential
e. Propose investments in extending platforms, creating or integrating new ones versus developing one-off products.

Desired Skills & Experience
• 3-5 years experience in web/mobile product development, product management or related consumer marketing role
• Deep knowledge of mobile marketplace, devices, operating systems, browsers, apps
• Experience working with web and app analytics products
• Background in and passion for digital media
• Creativity, communication, collaboration
• Operation and execution expert
• Global and cultural perspective and sensitivities
• Social, Local and Search marketing experience a big plus
• Web development experience a plus
• Spanish, French, German and/or Chinese a plus, but not required
