For more than 20 years, TGR Live has exclusively organized and managed fundraising events supporting the TGR Foundation. It focuses solely on creating amazing experiences for the foundation’s clients at world-class events. TGR Live provides a variety of services including hospitality management, public relations and marketing, tournament operations, and sponsor sales at PGA TOUR and signature events which benefit the foundation. While many TGR Live events are televised, TGR Live does not provide TV or video production.
TGR Live is in search of a candidate skilled in ticket operations to support the day-to-day ticket sales and operational functions required for the 2020 Genesis Open PGA TOUR event at The Riviera Country Club. This person will play a key role in the management of ticket operations leading up to and during the event while supporting sales and marketing outreach efforts in the southern California region. 
The ideal candidate will have experience in the sports business industry, specifically working in a ticket office supporting ticket fulfillment, box office operations, ticket sales support and community outreach. This person must work efficiently under pressure in a live event setting, and balance multiple responsibilities while being organized.  
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist with all aspects of ticket operations before and during the tournament;
  • Provide Archtics system back end support; build out of ticket events; building contact records; ongoing event maintenance; ticket fulfillment
  • Act as primary customer service representative to troubleshoot ticket management issues
  • Track and detail ticket fulfillment to ensure timely and accurate distribution of tickets; 
    • Process ticket and corporate partner orders in Archtics and distribute tickets digitally 
    • Work with internal departments to fulfill (i.e., pull, pack, and ship) physical tickets for sponsors, vendors and special guests, as applicable; 
    • Responsible for PGA TOUR, Riviera CC member and neighborhood ticket request fulfillment and tracking 
  • Assist in maintaining ticket sales reports in Archtics and TM1 to ensure proper recording and sales tracking;
  • Liaise with Ticketmaster staff for daily operational support and on-site set up;
  • Support on-site box office and will call operations during tournament week;
  • Liaise and work harmoniously with Ticketmaster, volunteers and support staff;
  • Support ticket and group sales initiatives through list pulling, lead prospecting, outbound calling;
  • Lead youth and charity ticket program outreach and execution;  
  • Lead grassroots marketing initiatives by setting up and staffing special events; outreach and communications to Pacific Palisades neighborhood residents;
  • Perform miscellaneous projects assigned by ticket sales and marketing staff;
  • Assist with tournament headquarters support activities as assigned;
  • The ideal candidate will have one to three years working in the event industry with specific experience in ticket operations a plus 
  • Experience in Archtics preferred, experience in a ticket sales system back-end required
  • A four-year college degree, preferably in Business or Sports Management  
  • Highly organized and detail oriented 
  • Superior communication, interpersonal and customer service skills 
  • Willingness to show initiative when required to get the job done 
  • A team-oriented attitude that fosters trust among colleagues in others 
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed
  • Local candidates preferred
