The First Tee national headquarters has an opportunity for a Manager, Network Communications, reporting to the Director, PR & Digital. This position is based in St. Augustine, Florida and is responsible for optimizing internal communications across multiple channels to align and inspire The First Tee chapters according to overall strategic priorities. This individual is responsible for developing and supporting the execution of communications that leverage chapter feedback, technology, data insights and HQ priorities. 

Qualified candidates will have the following:
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field
  •  Minimum of 5-7 years in Communications or related fields
  •  Preferred prior management experience of 1-3 years
  •  Preferred experience: project management, extensive knowledge of WordPress, Salesforce CRM, mass email solutions including specific software).

  • Works to align and empower chapters to improve their ability to deliver on The First Tee mission through innovative communications strategies.
  • Develops content plan and oversees internal channels—Intranet, eNewsletters and Salesforce Chatter—ensuring clear and consistent messaging that is timely and relevant.
  • Establishes metrics and routinely analyzes chapter engagement across internal channels.
  • Defines internal channel guidelines, protocols and aims toward best practices.
  • Takes a proactive approach to understanding chapter feedback, desires and concerns and works to provide HQ’s responses in a timely fashion.
  • Drives innovation in terms of how HQ and chapters communicate and surfaces new tools and ideas 
  • Collaborates with business leaders to understand and plan the pipeline of announcements.
  • Oversees The First Tee “story bank” of success stories of participants, alumni and chapters for use in fundraising, PR, social strategies.
  • Manages special projects or other duties as assigned, including but not limited to events and other business relationship management. 
  • Responsible for overseeing two coordinators.
