Shriners Hospitals for Children Open
Volunteer Intern
 
Internship Dates:  August 17th – October 23rd, 2020
Hours: 40Hrs / Week                         
Location:  Las Vegas (Summerlin), NV
 
 
 Responsibilities
  • Support with volunteer registration, volunteer training sessions and uniform pick up
  • Aid in the process of securing donations for Volunteer Appreciation Party and Volunteer Village during the week of the tournament. 
  • Aid with the preparation and execution of the Volunteer Appreciation Party
  • Support Volunteer Services Manager and all volunteer leaders in regards to any event needs
  • Must be a team player and willing to meet and work with all tournament staff and volunteer committees to support and engage in all Tournament initiatives and activities
  • Work with all Division Chairmen in securing their tournament supplies and table/radio needs for the tournament.
  • Work with Volunteer Manager to design and execute volunteer handbook.
  • Work with Division Chairs to set and attend all meeting sand trainings.
  • Work with TSM & Volunteer Manager to send email database blast to recruit volunteers. 
  • Other duties as assigned
 
 
The Volunteer intern reports directly to the Finance & Volunteer Manager. 
 
 
The 2020 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open brings the FedExCup to Las Vegas as the PGA TOUR returns to the Las Vegas valley for the 37th consecutive year. Many of the top golfers in the world will participate in the competition and help support the mission of Shriners Hospitals for Children®, from October 5th - 12th, 2020.
