Current Lagardère Golf clients include PGA TOUR stars Phil Mickelson, Jordan Spieth, Davis Love III, Jon Rahm and Brandt Snedeker. The Lagardère Sports Golf Event Management Division is based in Beaverton, Oregon and is led by industry veteran Jeff Sanders. As the leader in golf event management Jeff Sanders and his team have produced over 275 PGA TOUR, Web.com Tour, Celebrity and Charity tournaments over the past 30 years. Current PGA TOUR events include the Safeway Open and Career Builder Challenge as well as the Albertsons Boise Open and WinCo Foods Portland Open on the Web.com Tour. Charity is the primary focus for every event and over $250 Million has been raised by the Golf Event Management team to date.

Job Description: 

As the Sponsor Benefits Coordinator, you will work closely on the planning and fulfillment of sponsor benefits for spectator and charity golf tournaments. In addition to the planning and preparation in the Beaverton, Oregon office, this position will travel to various tournaments where you will assist in the coordination of the sponsor experience for corporate clients representing major national and international brands. You will be accountable fulfilment of print and signage collateral, on-site activations, special events and other sponsor related activities. 

  • Assist in the development and execution of unique on-course sponsor activations
  • Assist with execution and fulfillment of high-level sponsorship benefits
  • Coordination of VIP executive guests experience at tournaments 
  • Coordination of executive and sponsor rooms blocks at tournaments
  • Coordination of executive and sponsor services (travel, lodging, special events)
  • Assist with management of executive and sponsor communications 
  • Coordination of data entry for executive and sponsor information into customer management software
  • Management and execution of sponsor related print and signage projects 
  • Assist in the execution of Pro-Am, Am-Am and Corporate Events tournament documents (scorecards, cart signs, etc.)

The Sponsor Benefits Coordinator will report to the Director of Sponsor Benefits

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree from a 4-year college or university
  • 2+ years of client services and event coordination 
  • Strong passion for events and dedication to perform and succeed at the highest level.
  • Ability to travel 40+ days a year and work independently from office 
  • Extremely high communication skills
  • Fluent in all Microsoft Office applications, Access and Sales Force
