Communications/Community Relations: Broadcast Production
We presently have an opportunity to join our organization as a Sr. Manager of Broadcasting Production within the Broadcast/Domestic TV department. The Senior Manager Broadcasting Production will be part of a small team responsible for providing on-site support to our Network Partners during PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions and Web.com Tour telecasts. This position will provide relevant FedexCup content and help integrate PGA TOUR messaging into our telecasts. 
 
Qualified candidates will have the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Management or related field required  
  • Ten+ years of experience in the broadcasting industry, including a production, programming or network/sports background; Live broadcast and/or production experience desirable
  • Knowledge of broadcast and live production
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing and presentation abilities

Responsibilities:

  • On-site responsibilities at PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions and Web.com Tour events dealing with all television related issues involving Network partners, Tournament Director, and title sponsor
  • Develop strong relationships with our Network Partners
  • Oversee weekly CEO, Charity and Tourism messaging for PGA TOUR Champions
  • Create and provide relevant FedEx Cup storylines and graphics for Network production and announce teams as well as PGA TOUR’s Digital programming
  • Assist in monitoring network telecasts and creating accurate and timely Executive level telecast reports
  • Work closely with Broadcasting Production and Broadcast ShotLink teams on new technology for our network telecasts and various PGA TOUR Media platforms 
  • Identify Network telecast issues, concerns and accolades and assist in gathering relevant video clips for distribution to appropriate departments at the PGA TOUR
  • Must be willing to travel to approximately 8 – 12 events per year and work weekends
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
