We presently have an opportunity for a Producer within our PGA TOUR Entertainment Team. The Producer is responsible for producing features, shows and projects as assigned. Responsible for assisting in the creative development and execution of assignments. Oversee assigned production teams and manage daily production schedules on a per project basis. This position works across platforms, producing for linear and digital.
 
Qualified candidates will have the following:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Journalism, Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications and/or related area of study
  • 3 - 5 years of production experience including, single and multi-camera field production, the different styles of single and multi-camera ENG shooting, lighting technique, interviewing and editing of feature material and all phases of post-production
  • Must have experience developing program content, generating creative treatments, organizing show rundowns, script writing and line-producing for a wide variety of programming
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and best practices related to both traditional and digital content consumption
  • Experience with non-linear video editing (Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere)
  • Experience using ENPS news production system is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the current digital and social media landscape, best practices, success metrics and emerging platforms
  • Experience creating content for Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and other platforms
  • Interest in golf required; background in golf preferred
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure in a team environment
  • Strong writing and editing skills including grammar, style and spelling
  • Commitment to high-quality work products that meet brand and fan standards
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Produce own features, shows and projects by utilizing research, writing and editing skills
  • Create engaging content from concept to completion before, during and after tournaments for use on PGA TOUR digital platforms
  • Produce and direct field shoots as appropriate; conduct interviews and obtain necessary footage to incorporate into assigned project
  • Responsible for overseeing the creative execution of specific assigned shows and projects by setting feature ideas, rundowns, writing and reviewing scripts and directing staff during field shoots
  • Manage production teams in the daily planning and execution of all assigned programs and/or projects
  • Work with talent on voice over session and on-camera material
  • Manage team daily to ensure efficient execution of projects; work with supervisors to maintain budgets
  • Conduct periodic employee performance feedback sessions with assigned production teams to encourage development
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
