The Digital Content Analyst measures, analyzes and reports content performance and audience engagement on PGA TOUR’s digital platforms. The Digital Content Analyst will further enhance the Digital Content Team’s data-informed decision-making strategy by measuring content performance, conducting analysis and assisting with data-driven projects and research. This position will play a key role in reporting performance measurements to a wide range of PGA TOUR teams and departments, organizing large amounts of content and audience data,

Qualified candidates will have the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or Math preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quantitative or analytical role.
  • Background in web analytics and database management is required.
  • A strong understanding of social media platforms and the current landscape is required
  • Familiarity with digital analytics, data visualization tools, and querying databases is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of learning new technologies quickly
  • Experience visualizing data
  • Strong communication and organization skills with a customer oriented approach to developing solutions
  • Experience in a media organization or a sports organization is preferred.
  • Background in golf or golf interest is preferred.

  • Measure performance and results of content activations and initiatives, and develop reporting documents and dashboards for content and audience related information that is shared with the Content Team and other departments
  • Access and organize content data using database storage networks, reporting/measurement tools, social media platforms, etc.
  • Organize and tag digital and social content and provide data entry / metadata inputs using a data warehouse and reporting/measurement tools.
  • Analyze PGA TOUR content across channels and platforms, and assist with developing actionable insights and recommendations for the Content Team
  • Research and report long-term trends, and assist with conducting content studies to develop best practices
  • Research and report on trends and assist with conducting studies around social media conversation and content best practices.
  • Collaborate and communicate with Content Team members regularly around current and future plans
  • Participate in regular creative brainstorm sessions
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment
  • Special Projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Must be available during competition hours, which includes evenings and weekends
