We presently have an opportunity for an Analyst, Ticketing and Marketing Datawith the Championship Management Marketing Services department. This position will work closely with the various Championship Management tournament teams on the development and execution of local ticket market strategies to drive admissions revenue. This will be an integral role within Championship Management and will help shape strategic decisions for future ticket sales strategies and local-marketing campaigns designed to grow the PGA TOUR fan base by mining consumer profiles and analyzing behavioral data from multiple platforms and data sources.

Championship Management manages a combined 19 events across the PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions, and Web.com Tour, including THE PLAYERS Championship, Presidents Cup, World Golf Championships, and three of the four FedExCup playoff events (THE NORTHERN TRUST, Dell Technologies Championship, and the TOUR Championship.)

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Business or a related field
  • Ideal candidate has a minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing analytics or as a data analyst 
  • Archtics and Ticketmaster ticketing systems preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated knowledge in digital marketing including building pricing models and testing efforts
  • Specific performance and programmatic media analysis and proficiency in analytics reporting preferred
  • Solid understanding of digital media buying platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, GDN, DBM, and programmatic exchanges
  • Must possess advanced level Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills
  • Experience with media research tools preferred
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools preferred 

  • Oversee marketing analytics for the PGA TOUR’s Championship Management Marketing Services department to help demonstrate effectiveness of tournament marketing and ticket sales efforts
  • Deliverrecommendations to the Championship Management division for how to better understand and leverage their customer data, especially as it relates to ticket sales
  • Admissions sales reporting by event 
  • Lead research efforts in optimizing ticket pricing inventory analysis and models
  • Perform on-going data analysis pertaining to tournament customer databases
  • Support business decision making in product development, marketing strategies and e-mail campaign targeting
  • Create Marketing Dashboard for weekly, monthly and quarterly tracking of Championship Management event marketing campaign and ticket sales activity
  • Collect and report on industry trends in marketing analytics and act as a subject matter expert for all marketing measurement issues
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned
