OVERVIEW:   The Insperity Invitational will be held April 29 - May 5, 2019  at The Woodlands Country Club Tournament Course.  The event is managed by Pro Links Sports, a full-service golf management company that runs three events on the PGA TOUR Champions and three on the PGA Tour.
Looking for an energetic team player with strong verbal and written communications skills.  Detail oriented, organized and ability to multi-task.
The position requires the continuous need to read, write and speak English.  The position requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, talking and listening.  On occasion, the position incumbent is required to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds.
Leading up to and during tournament time the position will be expected to work many consecutive days and longer hours as needed to successfully produce the tournament.
START DATE   March 4, 2019  (flexible)
END DATE       May 10, 2019
HOURS            Monday – Friday / Flexible to Full-time hours
Intern is required to work full time, a minimum of 40 hours per week, during Advance week, the week prior to the tournament and official tournament week. Please note full time hours are minimum. Weekend days and evenings will be required closer to the actual tournament dates. Advance week and official tournament week days are long and will exceed regular office hours.  Attendance is required/mandatory.
Office attire is golf casual.
COMPENSATION        Weekly stipend
DESCRIPTION
- Main contact for Pro-Am events held on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- Secondary contact for Pro-Am held on Friday.
- Work closely with corporate sponsors on information gathering for approximately 600 amateurs.
- Oversee input of amateur data into database.
- Amateur handicap verification.
- Responsible for printing of pairings, scorecards and cart signs.
- Work closely with Pro-Am committee on registration and gift distribution.
- Coordinate daily thank you notes for professionals.
- Assist fellow intern with PGA TOUR Champions Honorary Observer program.
- Assist with Toast to the Champions champagne reception.
- Miscellaneous projects in connection with the tournament staff and committees for event preparation. 
- Actively participate in daily office activities such as answering phones, FedEx deliveries, maintaining office organization and cleanliness.
Intern will be required to submit weekly work reports.
COMPUTER SKILLS: 
Microsoft Office:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher
