Current Lagardère Golf clients include PGA TOUR stars Phil Mickelson, Jordan Spieth, Davis Love III, Jon Rahm and Brandt Snedeker. The Lagardère Sports Golf Event Management Division is based in Beaverton, Oregon and is led by industry veteran Jeff Sanders. As the leader in golf event management Jeff Sanders and his team have produced over 275 PGA TOUR, Web.com Tour, Celebrity and Charity tournaments over the past 30 years. Current PGA TOUR events include the Safeway Open and CareerBuilder Challenge as well as the Albertsons Boise Open and WinCo Foods Portland Open on the Web.com Tour. Charity is the primary focus for every event and over $250 Million has been raised by the Golf Event Management team to date.

Job Description: 

As the Sponsor Benefits Manager, you be responsible for the development, communication and delivery of tournament sponsor assets. You will work closely with the Director of Sales Operations and Director of Sponsor Benefits to gain a full understanding of promised benefits, build strategic plans for each sponsor and coordinate execution on-site. In addition, this position will require basic understanding of sponsor business products and offerings. You will be based at Lagardère Sports in Beaverton, Oregon and will travel to various tournaments throughout the year.   

  • Responsible for the development, delivery and execution of sponsor benefits 
  • Responsible for the development and timeline of sponsor communication 
  • Responsible for the development and execution of executive and title sponsor communication 
  • Responsible for the development of the client services program 
  • Responsible for development, delivery and execution of Pro-Am and Am-Am collateral 
  • Responsible for the post-tournament thank you’s and questionnaire fulfilment 
  • Responsible for the sponsor blocks and execution of hotel rooms 
  • Responsible for post tournament sponsor wrap-up and fulfillment 
  • Responsible for tracking benefits sent and received
  • Responsible for assisting the development and management of tournament golf pairings 
  • Responsible for the timely and efficient communication of reminders for upcoming projects
The Sponsor Benefits Manager will report to the Director of Sponsor Benefits and work closely with the Tournament Directors, Senior Vice President of Sales, and Director of Sales Operations

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree from a 4-year college or university
  • 4+ years of event management, client relations and sponsorship experience
  • Strong passion for event management and dedication to perform and succeed at the highest level.
  • Ability to travel 20+ days a year and work independently from office 
  • Extremely high communication skills
  • Fluent in all Microsoft Office applications and Access
