Food & Beverage - Food Server/Bartender - Part Time - Port St. Lucie, FL
We are looking for Food Server/Bartenders who will be responsible for taking orders and deliver prompt and professional service to members and to internal and external guests both graciously and courteously in all actions to ensure that everyone receives the highest level of customer service.
SERVER/BARTENDER - RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner continuously through departure.
Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
Effectively communicate to guests all menu selections and specials.
Check with guests for any additional needs.
Handle cash and secure payment.
Properly sets up, serves, and breaks down table sections as assigned.
Ensure that work stations (i.e., cups, glasses, silverware, plates, tables and chairs) are clean and stocked.
Clean and resets tables after guests have left according to established standards.
Obtain orders from kitchen and delivers them to the table along with appropriate condiments and utensils in a timely manner.
Maintain safe and sanitary conditions and all work areas. Remove dirty dishes from dining room as needed and takes to washing area.
Complete all assigned side work (i.e., filling salt and pepper shakers, sugar containers, cleaning and replacing stocks).
With additional training, bartending duties may be assigned. When scheduled as a bartender additional responsibilities will include:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Florida Driver’s License
Valid Food Handlers Certificate
Frequent standing, walking and lifting up to 25 pounds required on a daily basis.
It is the policy of the PGA Golf Club that all employees either (1) be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or (2) take and provide proof of weekly COVID-19 tests and wear a face covering while working indoors or while in a vehicle with another person for work purposes.
