The NCCGA Lead is responsible for the leadership, growth, and management of the National Collegiate Club Golf Association (NCCGA). Success will be measured by the number of events, colleges, teams, and participants, along with value created for PGA Professionals and facilities, net promoter scores, and the overall impact on the college community.
RESPONSIBILITIES (Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):
Lead strategic development and identify growth opportunities for the NCCGA.
Manage the growing community of over 300 colleges, 8,000 students, and 200 tournaments.
Oversee prospecting and lead generation. This includes identifying and reaching out to golfers and campus administration about our products and services to grow the number of participating colleges, teams, and players.
Oversee account management by helping current and prospective club golf teams succeed on and off the course in collaboration with Club Presidents and campus administration.
Plan, manage and execute the 200+ regional tournaments. This includes booking golf tournaments with PGA Professionals and course staff, supporting local volunteers, ensuring all materials and supplies are at the events, recording scores, and updating rankings.
Manage and support the Spring and Fall National Championships in collaboration with the Amateur Championships department.
Manage sponsor relationships associated with the NCCGA.
Develop training manuals and online education. Work with team members in the Player Engagement department who support the NCCGA and help prioritize work throughout the year.
Support other Player Engagement products Amateur Championships as defined by the Senior Director of Player Engagement.

This is a non-supervisory position.
Responsible for preparation and oversight of the NCCGA business line budget and for monitoring results.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in business, marketing, sales or related field.
5-7 years minimum of general business experience with a working knowledge of the golf industry and tournament activity.
Experience in procurement for purchases and shipments of tournament materials.
Experience making phone calls in a professional setting.
Experience in social media preferred.
PGA Professional or golf certifications preferred.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Must have knowledge of golf, including rules, culture, and tournament operations. Ability to prospect, lead conversion and close on sales. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Knowledge of Google Workspace.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
