Responsible for helping grow the game of golf nationwide. Work with our college club golf teams and young adult golfers from across the country. Find golfers to play in tournaments and help coordinate tournaments from start to finish.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):

Manage accounts by helping current and prospective club golf teams succeed on and off the course.

Work with campus representatives ensuring university sites adhere to brand standards and rosters and signups are handled correctly.

Prospect and generate leads by identifying and reaching out to golfers and campus administration informing them of our products and services.

Organize and manage sales funnel through a CRM.

Support and assist across business lines to achieve overall company goals

Book golf tournaments with PGA Professionals and course staff.

Train and supervise student interns.

Write articles for the Nextgengolf website and blog.

Help run Nextgengolf tournaments locally and nationally.

Contribute to Team goals, which are accomplished through exceptional account management and an eagerness to help golfers get out on the course.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in business, marketing, sales or related field.

2 years of experience account management experience along with marketing and social media experience preferred.

Exceptional account management and an eagerness to help golfers get out on the course.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Experience making phone calls in a professional setting.

Experience in the sports industry or a related field (including internships)

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

Must have knowledge of golf (including rules, culture, and tournament operations). Ability to lead prospecting, lead conversion and outbound sales. Ability to work in a less structured start-up culture to achieve company goals. Ability to be flexible in order to manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite.
