As a direct report to VP, Legal and Business Affairs at the XFL, the Director of Security will take the lead in assessing security issues and assigning the correct resources as they arise. This is a hands-on role responsible for overseeing eight team office security personnel as well as developing and implementing standard operating rhythms within each team location. You may be called upon the League Office to conduct appropriate investigations related to physical security where and when required, and manage effective referrals of other potential investigations to the Investigations and Intelligence Security group.


●        Manage all operations and activities of the XFL Security Department. 
●        Constant high-level coordination with the Commissioner's office, executive staff, club ownership and personnel. 
●        Responsible for working effectively with international, federal, state and local law entities, such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Secret Service, Homeland Security and local law enforcement to ensure the security of the XFL's venues, fans, players, staff and infrastructure. 
●        Supervise all investigative programs, event security (including domestic and international games), game integrity programs and department administration. 
●        Responsible for taking the lead in assessing security issues within the league and assigning the correct resources as they arise.
●        Lead response to incidents and events that impact the business and ensure appropriate action is taken. 
●        Deliver timely and accurate reporting to the Intelligence team and key partners. 
●        Identify gaps, risks and issues with personnel and operations, and may be responsible for administering counseling or disciplinary actions.

●        Minimum of 12+ years within a Federal or State law enforcement agency.
●        Minimum of 3+ years in supervisory capacity.
●        Prior investigations experience.
●        Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality of sensitive information. 
●        Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance, monitoring of assets and making rapid notifications via mass communication tools.
●        Strong working knowledge of security topics including Safety Act, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Homeland Security mission objectives and other relevant federal laws and regulations.
●        Strong relationships within the federal intelligence community, including Federal Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Secret Service, State Department Diplomatic Service and joint terrorism task forces.
