TITLE:                               Senior Systems Engineer

Senior Systems Engineer

The Washington Football Team is seeking an experienced Enterprise Systems Engineer. Qualified candidates will have experience and strong knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products including Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and Dynamics. Other technologies the engineer will need to have expertise in are Powershell, SAAS Monitoring, and cross-platform integrations.

  • Manage all business systems in use by the Washington Football organization
  • Azure Active Directory administration and troubleshooting
  • Monitor system performance in order to address any alerts 
  • Manage enterprise platforms including SAAS and cloud-based services
  • Manage relationships with systems contractors and vendors 
  • Manage enterprise software licensing
  • Oversee integration of Apple products into Microsoft and other platforms
  • Develop and execute system conversion, migration, implementation, and upgrade plans
  • Maintain all business systems with updates, patches, and configuration changes
  • Install and create virtual machines, setup virtual appliances
  • Coordinate and integrate technology solutions in use by various business units
  • Lead systems projects with various Departments across the organization

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technology field or equivalent experience
  • 7 years of relevant IT experience to include end user support and systems administration
  • 3 years experience in system administration supporting Microsoft technologies
  • Azure cloud administration and Powershell scripting experience is required
  • Experience with SCCM and VMWare preferred
  • Comprehensive experience with Azure AD and knowledge of Microsoft technologies (O365, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Experience migrating on-prem environments to the cloud
  • Be able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Have the ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously
  • Available to work during standard support hours (M-F, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM) along with occasional after-hours and weekend support
