SUMMARY: 
The Minnesota Vikings are looking for a creative and self-motivated individual to help us promote and execute our exciting programs and fan engagement opportunities. The ideal candidate would have the ability to assist in the planning and project management of the experiences, help build creative strategy and a media plan to promote them, and ultimately execute the experiences and serve as a positive brand touch point.  

In addition to the duties described above, the Marketing Associate will take part in the Vikings’ exclusive Leadership Development Program. This program will provide regular opportunities for professional development, exposure to organizational leadership and the ability to develop skills critical for the Associate’s future career growth. A fundamental part of the program will include clearly defined goals between the Associate and their Supervisor that will be tracked and measured for progress throughout the term of the program.

This is a temporary full-time position and expected to conclude at the end of May 2022, unless otherwise determined.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  •  Participate in the promotion and advertising of Vikings special events, content and programs throughout the year, including creative strategy, copywriting, media strategy and media buy.
  • Project manage the details, communications and execution of Vikings Fan Engagement opportunities.
  • Participate in the advancement or development of new Vikings Fan Engagement opportunities including Vikings Fan Clubs and Vikings Rewards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new Fan Engagement initiatives with various departments, vendors, and partners
  • Serve as a liaison to the fans, providing excellent customer service and on-brand experiences. 
  • Aid in game day reward fulfillment and program initiatives

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications
  • Demonstrated creative advertising or marketing experience 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to be successful and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, time-sensitive sports environment
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Required to work a flexible schedule that will include days, evenings, weekends and some holidays
  • Must be able to work Vikings Training Camp, Minnesota State Fair, and Vikings home games
