SUMMARY:


The Miami Dolphins Sales Development program is an entry level ticket sales position designed to give you the sales skills and abilities to grow your career in the Ticket Sales side of professional sports. Your goal as a member of our team will be to produce ticket sales revenue and ultimately earn a promotion during a 9 month period to one of our 5 Account Executive sales teams within the organization.

Hard Rock Stadium, the home of the Miami Dolphins, went through a $500 million stadium modernization and has hosted other world class events like Super Bowl LIV. In 2016 we were nominated for Sports Business Journal’s Sports Team of the Year Award and Best Sports Facility of the Year Award, and in 2019, a recipient of Front Office Sports’ “Best Places to Work”. The team has seen record growth in ticket sales and has become recognized as one of the premier organizations to work for in sports. Under the direction of CEO Tom Garfinkel and CRO Jeremy Walls (SBJ 40 under 40 winner) the ticket sales team is prepared to continue to maximize revenue and grow careers.


The Miami Dolphins foster an environment of a “Results based Culture with Heart” and live by an “Attitude, Effort, Results,” mindset. While this is a competitive environment, we excel as a team as we strive to meet and exceed personal and department revenue goals. With career growth being the ultimate goal, in the last five years our Sales Development team has produced over one hundred (100) promotions to account executive roles, ten (10) premium sales managers, and ten (10) managers in sales leadership positions.


Expectations:
Phone calls and touchpoints are used to set appointments to showcase Hard Rock Stadium and all of the seating products available to fans. You will be a full-menu sales consultant with free reign to sell all Dolphins products: including season ticket memberships, group tickets, luxury seating and executive suites. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to sell concerts, some of the most sought after soccer matches in the world, and the 3rd largest tennis tournament in the country- The Miami Open. In this sales development role, you will be give all of the tools to be successful with daily sales technique trainings as a team and bi-weekly one-on-ones where we establish how you’re progressing personally and professionally as you look to grow your career.


Metrics for success include: 40 hours per weeks, 100+ outbound calls each day, 5 daily sales pitches executed, and achieving annual revenue targets
