SUMMARY: 
Responsible for the management of all parking/transportation operations at Hard Rock Stadium to ensure the safest and most efficient ingress and egress to enhance the guest experience.   


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:                                                                                                                      
  • Oversight of the recruitment and training of the event parking staff (over 250 employees).
  • Responsible for accurate account of labor spent for parking operations and maintaining operating expenses within the allocated budget for all events.
  • Implementation of procedures and controls for tracking revenue collection through our Park Hub handheld.
  • Maintains a thorough and on-going analysis of traffic data and adjust accordingly.
  • Always ensures appropriate and sufficient signage on roadways and on property to direct traffic patterns.
  • Develops comprehensive plan to provide useful tips on ingress and egress.
  • Coordinate’s acquisition of materials critical to the parking operation, including signs, uniforms, safety devices, traffic cones, barricades, temporary lighting, and sanitary facilities.
  • Interfaces with teams and other clientele who need special parking plans to help coordinate their activities and includes staffing requirements.
  • Responsible for employee parking for all game day employees and the coordination of employee shuttle bus transportation.
  • Communicates with Miami-Dade police on a continual basis regarding traffic flow.
  • Responds at all guests’ questions, comments and complaints related to the parking operation at the stadium.
  • Attends all stadium event production meetings and provides a synopsis of the pertinent traffic management programs.
  • Able to work special projects or perform other related management duties as assigned.
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Bachelors’ degree from an accredited college/university and fours years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Minimum five years strategic management experience in designing, implementing, and improving parking operations.
  • Previous experience managing a large parking operation (tens of thousands of vehicles).
  • Knowledge of bussing logistics 
  • Experience with bus routing and loading
  • MOT(Maintenance of Traffic) certification and experience preferred 
  • Experience with major events at a busy venue. (i.e., Super Bowl)                            
  • Proven guest experience.
  • No fear of heights (watches traffic pattern from high elevation)
  • The ability to communicate with and understand instructions from immediate Stadium management, law enforcement entities, etc.
  • The ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays and schedule dictated by events.
 
Physical Demands:                                                                                   
  • The ability to maneuver through the stadium.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand for extended periods during events.
  • The employee must occasionally lift heavy objects over 30 lbs. (i.e., cones, equipment)
 
Work Environment:                                                                                                                                  
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places.
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate unless working events (game, concerts etc.); the noise level is loud.
