Facility Operations/Event Staff: Security

SUMMARY:
To observe and report at an assigned post overnight 12am-8am. To ensure safety and enforces Company policy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Greets visitors at front desk and directs to appropriate areas.
  • Patrol Facility on foot.
  • Answer phones.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
  • Responsible for logging keys and security pass cards to janitorial staff or other vendors.
  • Logging in deliveries and informing staff of their arrivals.
  • Responsible for logging all team vehicle activities.
  • Maintain and monitor fire/burglar alarms and CCTV systems.
  • Act in emergency situations such as illness, safety hazards, or other unusual situations.
  • Be able to implement policies and procedures as outlined in Security Handbook.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Report writing skills.
  • Ability to walk throughout the facility and climb stairs (especially for emergencies).
  • Background check required (no criminal convictions).
  • Verifiable employment history.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Basic computer skills. (MS Windows)
  • Neat and professional appearance.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard.
  • Negative result on pre-employment drug screen.
  • Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
