Over the last four years the Miami Dolphins has been become recognized as one of the premier organizations to work for in professional sports. With the tremendous growth we are looking to add 1-2 talented individuals to our Business Development Team. This team is an integral part of the Dolphins Sales Team and more importantly has been a career springboard for individuals looking to grow their careers into the next step. We have had eight (8) promotions to ticket sales leadership and nine (9) to premium sales account executives in the last four (5) years. The Dolphins were nominated by Sport Business Journal in 2016 at one of the best organizations in sports. Having just hosted Super Bowl 54 and on the heels of the College Playoff Championship in 2021, and the Miami Open in 2020, the opportunity to grow consistently increases. We are seeking a professional, self-motivated, and positive individual who is coachable when provided guidance from our leadership team to maximize revenue.

Job Overview

After completing a $700+ million dollar stadium renovation, we introduced brand new seating options including a new club level, luxury seating and suites. As a full menu sales consultant a Business Development Account Executive will be focused on meeting face to face with local businesses and consumers to sell season memberships.

Major Responsibilities  

  • Meet or exceed established revenue goals
  • Research, prospect and establish relationships while booking meetings through daily phone calls, emails, and additional technological resources.
  • This position will be focused on appointment setting, executing sales presentations in a face to face format and closing sales
  • Set meetings with local consumers and decision makers of small businesses and large corporations
  • The candidate will be held accountable to certain levels of activity and production (calls, appointments and revenue)
  • Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weeknights, select weekends and holidays
  • Candidate should possess an optimistic team-first attitude, as well as the competitive desire to be the best. 

Job Requirements

  • Proven track record of 1-2 years of ticket sales experience 
  • Candidate must have a strong work ethic and desire to build a career in professional sports
  • Bilingual speaker is preferred
  • Ability to present sales material to large groups and clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Previous work experience with Microsoft CRM is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
