The Rams are looking for a Senior Manager of Marketing Strategy & Operations to join our team. This individual will have a strategic mindset that allows them to breakdown complex problems into actionable insights and develop strategic solutions and recommendations. Reporting to the VP of the Marketing Strategy and Operations team, this individual will be a skilled collaborator with a keen ability to influence cross functional stakeholders at various levels and will work in partnership with team cross functional stakeholders. This role will provide support to various cross function projects and partners as needed to support our overall marketing goals (e.g. Growth opportunities, NFL initiatives etc.). This role is essential to creating transparency and accountability within the marketing organization and identifying opportunities for growth to drive the organization forward. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Support CMO in establishing marketing goals and developing marketing initiatives to achieve Rams organizational goals 
  • Collaborate with Marketing Leadership and supporting teams to develop projects and initiatives (and level goals) supporting the overall marketing goals 
  • Support marketing organizations in cross-disciplinary initiatives, both across business functions and with outside parties (e.g. league-wide initiatives or executive initiatives) 
  • Conduct research to identify growth and innovation opportunities and stay on top of industry trends 
  • Craft insight reports for teams 
  • Support development of performance metrics, establish baselines, and implement measurement and reporting tools and approach (e.g. dashboards) to measure performance and provide insights  
  • Identify opportunities and execute special projects  
  • Establish communication process (e.g. townhalls), to provide marketing organization updates on progress, learnings, and new opportunities 
  • Maintain relationships throughout the organization to support organizational health; keep a pulse on emerging developments and identify areas of opportunity 
  • Provide support in implementing and executing organizational transformation based on recent reorganization plan  
  • Support CMO team with developing and maintaining marketing budget and forecasting 
  • Support external and internal communications, (e.g. CMO brand/PR strategy, internal communications, All Hands, Leadership Updates) 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience working in strategy and operations preferably in a Marketing organization 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail 
  • A “swiss army knife” who can hop into various projects, ramp up quickly on new topics and provide impact  
  • A relationship builder with proven ability to effectively collaborate, influence and make decisions in a partner driven, matrixed environment  
  • A problem solver with the ability to break large, complex problems into actionable tasks 
  • A strong communicator who knows how to adjust communications based on audience 
  • Experience in Asana or similar project management software 
  • Previous experience working in sports preferred 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of football 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment   
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
