As the Los Angeles Rams build their organization and brand in the Southern California region, they are looking for a Motion Graphic Designer to assist the Rams front office in creating impactful motion and animated collateral for social media, digital properties, and in-stadium packages. Candidates must be able to collaborate in a team environment. The Motion Graphic Designer will work on projects from across the organization including the media and marketing teams to further enhance and deliver on the Rams brand strategy. Additionally, the Motion Graphic Designer will be expected to work to further develop and create animated content for Rams in-game experiences in the most sophisticated, digital visual sports environment in the world at SoFi Stadium.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 
  • Creation and implementation of in-game graphics for LED ribbon signage and in-venue programming (360 degree 4k HDR video board)
  • Understanding of video and animation codecs and rending in 4k HDR workspace
  • Production of video graphics, end tags, lower thirds, editorials, etc.
  • Ability to produce Social Media creative that accomplishes the following:
    • Creative work that engages viewers
    • Reflects the core of the Rams brand within our social media channels
    • Ensures brand standards are adhered to both internally and externally
  • Knowledge of production standards for social platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Proven design work in layout, typography, animation, and social media design
  • Support the creative team with ensuring a creative working environment for the full staff, including fostering creative thinking, brainstorming and problem solving
  • Experience delivering great creative while meeting parameters of existing brand guidelines

Knowledge / Skills / Experience:
  • 3+ years experience in a Motion Graphic Design role and bachelor's degree
  • Experience at an agency, fast-growing consumer brand, or professional sports environment preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities, including the ability to provide clear creative direction and interaction
  • Exceptional design aesthetic and awareness of design trends and innovation across a variety of animated and digital mediums
  • Experience delivering great creative while meeting parameters of existing brand guidelines
  • Eagerness to learn and be part of a team
  • Versatile, organized, responsible and dependable
  • Ability to positively adapt to constructive criticism
  • Video editing experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of 3D design software a plus (Cinema 4D, Octane, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of Ross design software a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Proficient on Mac computer

Work Environment:
  • Full-time role
  • Office located in Agoura Hills, CA
  • Motion Graphic Designer should expect to work at the stadium during home games, and be available to work from the office and/or home during away games as needed
  • Flexible schedule required to successfully complete job requirements, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
