About the Green Bay Blizzard

The Green Bay Blizzard is a professional indoor football team and a member of the Indoor Football League (IFL), entering its 20th season as an indoor football franchise. The team is owned by Kathy and Larry Treankler – local business owners in the Green Bay area – who have a passion for sports, entertainment, and giving back to the community.

Job Responsibilities:

● Attend all Blizzard home games and required events throughout the season

● Participate as a team member through meetings and offer support to other team members to maximize customer service, retention efforts, and sales performance

● Assist with planning and execution of group and corporate ticket holder events, information sessions, and call campaigns

● Contact and generate new and existing sales opportunities with partners

● Represent the Green Bay Blizzard brand on game day and in the community

● Communicate effectively with fans and team members

Qualifications:

● Desire to learn and grow

● College student or recent graduate Sales, Communications, or Business related field

● Willingness to be challenged and step outside of your comfort zone

● Energetic and passionate about the sports and entertainment industry

● Self-motivated and takes initiative; can manage and balance multiple projects/tasks at one time

● Working in a fast-paced environment

● Ability to work untraditional hours, including weekends and evenings

● Must be willing to stand for long periods of time

Other Details:

● Internships will run from late February 2023 – July 2023 (approximately).

● This is an unpaid internship. Applicants are encouraged to pursue college credit from their college or university if applicable.
