The Washington Redskins are seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals to serve as Operations Interns for the 2017 Training Camp in Richmond, Virginia.  Working directly with the Manager of Guest Experience, you will help execute the overall plan to enhance the Redskins Fan Experience.  As an Operations Intern, you will assist the Redskins Operations Team with the setup, execution, and breakdown of the Redskins Training Camp.  

Your duties include but not limited to the following:

·         Report directly to Manager of Guest Experience
·         Provide professional and excellent customer service to all fans during Training Camp
·         Be able to answer most questions fans may have related to Training Camp
·         Provide resolution to issues that may arise throughout the course of the camp
·         Keep track of Ambassadors program records (e.g. attendance, hours, incentives, etc.)
·         As directed, serve as a Lead for Ambassadors in various areas of the training facility
·         Keep all tents and facilities stocked with food, water, ice and other supplies as needed
·         Set up all areas prior to opening of Training Camp
·         Breaking down all areas of the facility post training camp
·         Help set up and execute deliveries of goods necessary for Training Camp
·         Maintaining inventory of goods provided at Training Camp
·         Work with other Redskins Departments to ensure all needs are met
·         General Administrative Support
·         Other duties assigned


  • Must commit to work all setup, event and breakdown dates (approximately 7-8 weeks from early July to mid-August) including some nights and weekends 
  • Must be at least 18 year of age.
  • Must be able to receive school credit
  • Maintain a professional appearance 
  • Ability to be friendly and courteous in a fast paced and intense environment.  
  • Effective verbal communication skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent writing skills
  • Able to stand for long periods, walk long distances, climb stairs, lift heavy items and withstand hot and humid environment. 
  • Proven experience to appropriately work with and around confidential information
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast paced environment
  • Must have housing and appropriate transportation to and from Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Camp facility
