The Washington Football Team is currently seeking a Vice President, Suite Sales to join the Washington Football family! The Vice President of Suite Sales will be revenue-driven, strategic, credible player-coach style sales leader with great attention to detail, and passionate about building and managing high-performing sales teams to maximize revenue growth. This leader is responsible in building effective and strong business relationships to accelerate suite sales growth through new customer acquisition, upgrades, and cross-sales. This leader will inspire your sales team to establish and execute a comprehensive business plan heading into each season, and will be expected to increase revenue through annual, packaged, and individual suite sales. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Partnerships. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Exceed established individual and department annual revenue goals
  • Build, develop and train a best-in-class suite sales team
  • Develop, lead and inspire a positive team culture focusing on cross collaboration
  • Create innovative prospecting strategies to support the identification and generation of new suite revenue
  • Develop effective tracking and reporting tools to provide accountability towards revenue and retention goals for team 
  • Establish and oversee department profit and loss to ensure accuracy and annual tracking
  • Build positive relationships with clients and prospects via networking, speaking engagements, one-on-one dinners, prospect sampling and suite visits at games, open houses at company venues, and offsite meetings
  • Participate in community events, conferences, associations that enhance our reputation and potential for success while building new relationships with local, regional and national leaders
  • Construct and deliver executive level communications and negotiations with clients
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree, Business Administration or related fields, or equivalent work experience
  • 8 years of suite sales and service experience, preferably within the sports or entertainment industries; 5 years of suite sales team supervisory management experience
  • Network of high-level relationships with key business verticals; experience successfully closing multi-year six and seven figure deals
  • Understanding of analytical and data frameworks to prospect, sell, service and measure effective customer relationships
  • Ability to write and communicate effective business plans
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
  • Dedication to innovative thinking and execution
