The Washington Football Team’s Brand & Entertainment Studio is seeking a team member with a passion for connecting with Consumers and Fans to join the Marketing team and lead the strategic growth of key Fan engagement platforms as “Marketing Manager, Engagement Platforms”.    
 
In this highly visible, fan and corporate/community partner-facing role, the Marketing Manager, Engagement Platforms will be responsible for developing strategy, planning, and executing programming around one of our strategic Fan engagement platforms.  The successful candidate will serve as our team’s primary advocate for the specific Fan segment and will develop the strategy and resulting programs and initiatives to not only engage and delight our Fan segments, but to also deliver value to our corporate/community partners (Partners).  She/he/they will ensure the platform is represented/activated across key team initiatives and tentpole events. The Manager will uncover the “sweet spot” where Fan segment needs converge with Partner goals/benefits.  
 
Leveraging the understanding of Fan and Partner insights and needs, the Marketing Manager will develop the platform’s annual marketing plan, including a calendar of events and activations.  She/he/they will pitch revenue-generating ideas and plans to Partners to best engage the Fan segments.  The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for developing and managing the platform budget and driving efficiencies to support optimal engagement and platform growth.  
 
The Washington Football Team’s platforms play an important role in our communities, and as such, the Marketing Manager, Engagement Platforms will also play an important role by leading and/or participating in community activities and events targeted to platform segments.  Such activities may take place on game days, evenings, and weekends during the season and off-season.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Business Intelligence and NFL League partners to explore/analyze relevant insights, behavioral trends and opportunities and develop actionable strategies, programs, and marketing plans spanning the season and off-season.
  • Develop program/activation ideas and work with Corporate Partnerships team to align ideas with Partners.
  • Identify community partners key to growing our Fan segments and build symbiotic, organic relationships. 
  • Project manage each platform initiative, program, and event by developing objectives, tracking KPIs, managing the project schedule, and ensuring successful execution.
  • Develop and manage the platform budget to drive efficiencies and deliver in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Support general Marketing team efforts, including initiative, game-day, and event support as needed.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and executing large-scale Consumer/Fan programs and events.
  • Passion for Fans/Consumers, with experience utilizing research and data to drive actionable insights that inform marketing strategy and improve Fan/Consumer engagement experiences.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and externally to garner support/buy-in needed to achieve goals.
  • Experience project managing initiatives/events and executing with great attention to detail and timelines.
  • Experience prioritizing and managing multiple initiatives and programs concurrently while working with internal/external teams to ensure programs are launched to the highest degrees of excellence.
  • Demonstrated competency communicating and influencing effectively across all levels of management.
  • A team-first mentality and approach to work.
