The Washington Football Team is seeking an experienced professional to join our Hospitality & Premium Department as Director, Suite Sales to join the team. This sales leader will possess a strong understanding of professional sports Hospitality, a proven track record in client relationship development and will be responsible for generating significant new revenue via all Hospitality and Premium department assets.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Generate significant new hospitality revenue by successfully prospecting, pitching, and closing comprehensive six and seven figure luxury suite anchored agreements.  Key sales inventory will include luxury suites (annual and game day), Touchdown Club Memberships, Loge Club, and other premium hospitality offerings.    
  • Leverage your network, as well as other means such as cold calling, to connect with C-Level decision makers in order to secure meaningful appointments with local, national and global corporations (prospects)
  • Analyze specific prospective partner hospitality and entertainment needs by conducting a consultative based needs analysis to ensure proposed partnership not only meets, but exceeds the prospective partner KPIs     
  • Effectively communicate across all areas of the company including legal, accounting, marketing, operations, content, digital & social, community relations and ticketing
  • Work closely with the Hospitality Client Service team to ensure clients receive superior service and complete fulfillment of every contract detail
  • Ability to work well within a team sales environment.
 
Requirements:
  • Must be a dynamic, outgoing, self-motivated, polished presenter with a proven track record in developing significant luxury suite and / or premium hospitality revenue
  • Must have highly referenced sales experience with a minimum of five (5+) plus years in luxury suites and / or premium hospitality sales.
  • The successful candidate must be innovative and have prior experience as a hospitality sales revenue leader for a team or event and vast proven experience generating new business via robust six and seven figure annual hospitality agreements.
